1. Randy Seager, called meeting to order.

• John Racine introduced guest, Breanne Rowe who attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium (RYLS).
2. Presentation: Youth Wellness Hub Northumberland presented by Alexis Forde, Hub Manager and Jennifer Pendergast, Project Manager.
- The Youth Wellness hub, managed by Alexis and overseen by Jen for construction, serves youth aged 12-25 in North Cumberland. It offers a variety of social, clinical, and community supports without requiring a health card or referral. The hub is part of a larger network of 30 similar hubs across Ontario. Services include primary care, mental health and substance use services, peer support, and community partnerships for education and career planning. The hub aims to address issues like housing and food insecurity. Construction is ongoing, with a target opening by the end of summer. The community is encouraged to support through volunteering, donations, and partnerships.
3. Breanne offered a brief presentation about her experience at RYLS. She commented on meeting great people who she is still in contact with. She gained new-found confidence and activities allowed her to step outside of her comfort zone. She would recommend experience to other youth.
4. Committee Updates
• Rhonda welcomed Brianna Whately to our club as an official new member.
• Nizar advised that there is an ad-hoc committee that will review applications for the $25,000 grant.
• Randy announced that they are still seeking additional members for the governance committee.
5. Nazir was able to answer Rotary trivia question- Who is the Rotary International President for 2025-2026?
• Francesco Arezzo who is a member of the Rotary Club of Ragusa Italy. He will assume the role on July 1, 2025.
6. Nazir offered some highlights of the club's 2025-2026 budget.
• Membership dues will stay the same.
• $25,000 grant is included in the budget.
• The board is looking at different venues for President’s Night.
• The board is presenting a balanced budget.
The 2025-2026 budget was approved.
7. Happy Bucks
• Denise- Thank you to everyone who was able to attend President’s Night. She expressed her sincere appreciation for the donation made in her name to the Northumberland Humane Society.
• Randy- Grateful for celebrating both his birthday and wedding anniversary this month.
• Sian- Thank you to everyone who came to help at the NHH garden clean-up. She also extended a thanks to Davey landscaping for their generous donation.
• Petra- Had a great time visiting with a friend who she has known for over 40 years.
• Jennifer- Has recently returned from a trip to Kelowna visiting with her daughter and grandson. She quickly went to work washing windows and weeding gardens!
